Prepare while you have a connection
Confirm the active road setup and check the route while online. Open Offline and sync. If trip preparation is available in your build, save the current route for preparation and wait for every required leg’s map download to complete.
Review voice preparation separately and test the device voice while parked. A map download does not prepare voice, and a partially downloaded route is not a fully prepared trip. Open the in-app guidance for the build you are using.
Select the correct account and organisation before leaving coverage. Cached routes retain their original ownership and assessment time. If either cannot be verified, reconnect and check again. Caching does not extend the 12-hour maximum assessment age.
Treat each capability separately
Illustrated help, tips and troubleshooting are bundled with the app and remain readable offline. A retained route or saved setup does not by itself establish that maps, voice, app restart and rerouting will work without reception. HeavyRoutes’s full native offline behaviour is still being validated for the pilot.
New checks and rerouting need a connection
Do not rely on the website’s examples as an offline-navigation promise. Current new route checks and rerouting require connectivity. Pilot instructions will describe the supported conditions for the invited build.
Ask about your usual runs
When registering pilot interest, describe your general operating region and where reception is a recurring difficulty. You do not need to send private route records or exact customer addresses.
Use setup and troubleshooting controls while safely parked. HeavyRoutes support is not an emergency or roadside-assistance service.
